Slideshow: Best Diet Tips Ever — 22 Ways to Stay on Track

I’m diabetic, and many of my friends and family members are too. Here’s some good advice (I know that advice is worth what you pay for it but this advice is golden.)

  • Drink plenty of water or other calorie-free beverages. (My issue)
  • Be choosy about nighttime snacks. (not my issue)
  • Eat several mini-meals during the day (or intermittently fast: only eat within an 8 hour window, giving your body time to digest and use those calories).
  • Eat protein at every meal.
  • Swap a cup of pasta for a cup of vegetables.
  • Always eat breakfast (but what if you’re not hungry in the morning, or don’t like breakfast food? You could eat some leftover dinner or lunch-type food!)
