You Might Be Using That Drawer Under Your Oven Wrong

Hint: It might not be for storage.

If you’re like me, you use the drawer below your oven to store cookie sheets, cutting boards, and whatever else you can cram in there.

But that’s not how you’re supposed to be using it.

If you have an electric oven, that nifty little space is actually a warming drawer, and it’s meant to keep food at serving temperature. (If you have a gas stove, it’s likely that drawer is for broiling.) Read HERE.

So read the manual that came with your stove, or go online and read it on the manufacturer’s website. Mine is just a drawer.
