- 5 cups corn
- 1/2 cup whole or 2% milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 stick butter (1/4 cup), melted
- heaping tablespoon sugar
- 2 dashes salt
- 1 dash pepper
Combine all ingredients and cook on low heat on your stovetop, watching and stirring periodically so it doesn’t stick. Cook until everything is hot and bubbly, and the cream and milk are melded with the corn. You can also cook this in the oven at 250F or in a slow cooker for 4-6 hours.
