Many months into the COVID-19 pandemic, the coronavirus is still spreading uncontrolled through the U.S. Public health authorities including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) tell us to remain six feet apart, wash our hands, disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and wear masks. But compliance with these measures—especially masks—is mixed, and daily we hear of cases where people do not know how they were infected.

23 Cleaning Products Proven to Kill the Coronavirus

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has added to its list of products that have proven effective in killing the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) on hard surfaces, based on results from laboratory testing. The latest update brings the total number of products approved by the EPA for use against SARS-CoV-2 to 23; Lysol Disinfectant Spray and Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist were the first to receive agency approval in early July.
