Peonies Are Back in Stores

I love peonies. Almost as much as I love roses. They are such foofy flowers, so pretty and feminine and southern. Even though I’m not much of a pink person, I enjoy looking at pink peonies.

Starting today (Friday, May 29th), Trader Joe’s peonies will be available for purchase. They also have them at Whole Foods and Publix. The seasonal flowers are only around for a limited time, so make sure to grab a bouquet soon.

Of course, you could plant some in your yard to enjoy. Costco has peony tubers, and other nurseries have those that ship in the spring and those that ship in the fall.
