I love breakfast. I love breakfast food. In fact, I think that I have at least as many breakfast cookbooks as I have baking books. Well, maybe. My favorite breakfast foods are eggs, pancakes, french toast, saugage, great coffee with cream and sugar, and fresh fruit.
My favorite reipe for french toast comes from a cookbook that is out of print. The receipe was developed by cooks who used to run the dining car on the Santa Fe Railroad when I was a girl taking the train to visit my relatives in Texas.
